The Computer History Museum is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of computing history, and is home to the largest international collection of computing artifacts in the world. The Computer History Museum offers historical exhibits, such as "Innovation in the Valley", "Visable Storage", and "Mastering the Game: A History of Computer Chess". Visitors can wander the Museum or take a guided tour of the fascinating exhibits to learn about the innovators and view some of the earliest one-of-a-kind computers. On May 10, CHM will launch its exhibit of Charles Babbage's Difference Engine No. 2 with a Victorian-themed Open House. The Engine is 11 ft long, 7 ft high, weighs 5 tons and has 8000 parts. Come for movies, demonstrations and popcorn. Visit the website for more information. Free admission. Support computing history-become a member, volunteer, or donate an artifact.
